I moved to Wilmington in 2015 as i was taking a break from studying Biological Sciences with a concentration in veterinarian medicine. Before, attending Mississippi State, where I met my better half, I grew up in a small town in Alabama...My love for animals started and grew on the farm my family owned. From cows and horses, to the little squirrel or raccoon who lost its mommy, I have been blessed to be able to grow up around a family full of animal lovers and due to that have had the experience to be involved in many things. I can sit here and ramble on about the surgeries I have seen, and pets I have had the opportunity to take care of while growing up and attending MSU, but maybe another day.. When we moved to Wilmington I needed something to pass the time and began sitting through Rover. Through the help of many people, I was able to break away from Rover and start GingerSnaps Pet Care!
There's No Place like Home
Literally, there is no place like home. Actually, one of the main reasons I wanted to start my own business. I hated boarding my pups because they would never eat. I would pick them up and my oldest one would be shaking because she caused herself to get sick with worry. When I started having someone stay at the house with them, it changed everything. We came home to happy pups each and every time. That's what i hope to accomplish each and every time, no matter what. Happy Pet Happy Owner....Best and only way to do it.
